With great anticipation, Star Trek fans along with eager Movie Buffs across Adelaide, converged at The Palace East End Cinema in the heart of the City of Churches for a Gala Screening to officially celebrate the Film's release to the general public.

The sell out Gala event was orgainsed by Terra Nova Events Director - Mr Stuart Blair and included two screenings of the 11th Star Trek film with over 500 fans in attendance.

Pre show festivities included an expo of Sci Fi and Pop Culture memorabila for purchase along with local community group displays by Adelaide Star Trek fan club - Starship Mawson and The Australian Costumers' Guild.

As with most themed events, some of the attending audience wore the costume of their favourite sci fi character which added flavour to the evening with many of them being asked to pose for photos with fellow fans.

The evening was a total success and special thanks once again to The Terra Nova Crew for their dedication to the highest level of customer service with great praise being offered as patrons left the cinema at the end of the event.
